Features

Shimano GRX ST-RX820-L shift/disc brake lever - The Shimano GRX ST-RX820L provides Gravel inspired ergonomics both for the bracket design to accommodate every kind of drop bar and for the lever itself featuring an anti-slip coating for greater mixed-terrain control. As with the shift/brake levers of the RX820 series, excellent braking performance is achieved by the brake lever's rotary axle, which is positioned 18 mm higher than usual and Shimano's SERVOWAVE technology, improving the lever's modulation ability. To meet the driver's individual needs, the hydraulic brake lever offers a tool-based reach adjustment as well. Note that the left lever is also a shift lever that can be used in a 1x or a 2x crankset. The left lever can also be used with a dropper post if a 1x chainring is used.

Shimano GRX ST-RX820-R shift/brake lever - The Shimano GRX ST-RX820 dual control lever provides Gravel inspired ergonomics both for the bracket design to accommodate every kind of drop bar and for the lever itself featuring a curved shape and an anti-slip coating for greater mixed-terrain control. Regarding shifting performance, the 2x12-speed GRX STI levers are at the same high level as Shimano's top-tier group's road bike shifters. In contrast, the braking performance is optimized by the brake lever's rotary axle, which is positioned 18 mm higher than usual, and Shimano's SERVOWAVE technology, improving the lever's modulation ability. To meet the driver's individual needs, the hydraulic brake lever offers reach and free stroke adjustment as well.

Shimano GRX BR-RX820 disc brake calliper - Never hesitate to tackle rough surfaces with the hydraulic Shimano GRX BR-RX820 calliper. In doing so, Ice Tech ensures excellent heat dissipation, while the BR-RX820's 2 ceramic pistons guarantee excellent braking performance under all conditions. The flat mount system allows the disc brake calliper to be attached directly to the frame or fork. The proven One Way Bleeding concept and the Easy Hose Joint System provide trouble-free and simple maintenance, which simplifies brake hose exchanges (brake hose sold separately).

Shimano GRX FC-RX820-1/2 cranksets - Shimano's GRX cranks are designed to handle a wide variety of terrain and riding styles. They feature a 2.5 mm wider chain line for more freedom in frame design and the use of wider tires.

The GRX FC-RX820 Hollowtech II crankset relies on a 1x12-speed drivetrain concept. It offers the optimum gearing for every terrain and riding style thanks to Shimano's wide range of cassettes and sprocket ratios. For the aluminum crank with a 50.1 mm chain line, you can choose between a 40 or 48/31 teeth chainring, suitable for use with HG-EV and HG-X11 chains.

Shimano GRX RD-RX820-GS Shadow RD+ rear derailleur - The mechanical Shimano GRX RD-RX820 rear derailleur is characterized by quiet, smooth, precise and reliable shifting even in the most demanding terrain. This is mainly due to the Shadow RD+ chain stabilization system, which prevents the chain from slapping and dropping and prevents unnecessary movements of the derailleur's cage, thus ensuring uninterrupted shifting performance. That is why an On/Off switch can be found next to the upper pulley, much like Shimano's mountain bike derailleurs. When activated, the rear derailleur pivot takes a firm hold to reduce excessive movement, noise and general "chain chatter".

The RD-RX820 rear derailleur is suitable for 11-42 teeth cassettes.
