WOHO Anti-Sway Stabilizer Bar for Bikepacking Saddlebags

Anti Sway Stabilizer and Bottle Cage Rack for Any Saddle Bag System

Upgraded 2022 version are now in stock!
In order to achieve next level in durability, WOHO has made the new anti-sway bars with enhanced materials. The bar system is now made with 6061T5 aluminum alloy and comes with Nylok treated screws. With numerous tweaks and improvements, stabilizer will be more stable than ever on the roughest terrain.

As an experienced bike packer, you may find that a disadvantage of a rack-less saddlebag is the annoying swag while riding, which may affect the rider’s balance. WOHO team has now come up with a solution- a cage that connects to the saddle rails that hold saddle bag rigid; what’s more, you can have two more bottle cage* on it!

Use included spacers between bottle cage and rack to prevent bolts rubbing if needed. The anti sway bar is very easy to install.

*Does not include bottle cage and bottle.

Some Great Feedback:

"WOHO has come up with a rather simple aluminum stabilizing bracket, which I think you’ll agree is pretty damn neat. Mounting on the saddle rails it cradles either side of your saddlebag and keeps it in check. It’s barely noticeable when you have a saddlebag in place! "- Cyclingabout.com, Alee.

"... the ANTI SWAY Bag Stabilizer was one of the first to be independently of a seat bag. And, it offers two additional bottle cage mounts, an interesting solution for desert bikepacking routes or races. " - Bikepacking.com, Logan Watts

“It locks onto most all saddle rails and inserts on the side of your pack. The best part is, the arms of this stabilizer can hold extra water or cargo cages.”

Not suitable for bikepacking.

I bought a set of these for a BCEpic1000 race this June. I installed it accordingly to the instructions, attached bottle cages and put 700ml bottle in each. The ends broke off at kilometer 654 into the race. I figured that the combined weight of the bottles and vibration caused this. No problem. I ordered another set and this time I didn't install bottle cages to avoid loading the bars. Unfortunately one side vibrated off and broke only after 500km into another trip. So the bottom line is - this is a good idea but poorly implemented. Don't bother buying it unless you only do pavement or light gravel riding.

Great addition to my bikepacking set-up

Took care of the sway problem I had with my saddlebags and the extra mounts for water cages were a godsend. Love it!
