About Cycle Touring Life

Cycle Touring Life is a bikepacking and bike touring shop run from Canning, Nova Scotia, in the Annapolis Valley — a place where a gravel road out the back door can turn into a three-day trip if you let it.

The shop is run from two warehouses in Canada by Dominic Rivard and Jack Yuan, both long-distance cyclists and bikepackers who have toured many parts of the world on two wheels and gear strapped to their bikes, not sitting in a showroom. Dominic is the author of Train, Pack & Ride, a practical guide to preparing for your first loaded tour, and writes regularly about the touring life on the Cycle Touring Life Substack.

Why buy from us

We are the official North American importer for WOHO XTouring bikepacking gear and ERRO touring bags. That means real stock in Canada, real warranty support, and answers from someone who has actually used the gear — not a dropshipper reading a spec sheet. Orders ship from our warehouses in Nova Scotia and Toronto, usually the same or next business day, across Canada and the USA.

How we choose gear

Small catalogue, on purpose. Everything in the shop is here because it earns its weight on a loaded bike: WOHO and ERRO bags we import ourselves, Brooks saddles that outlast the bikes under them, and camping gear light enough that you stop noticing it. If we wouldn't strap it to our own bike for a week in the rain, we don't sell it.

Questions about fit, setup, or which bag suits your trip? Check the FAQ or get in touch — you'll get an answer from a rider.
